So why do you judge a persons skill off of KDR?

My KDR is around 1.68+ normally winning 30-3 or better

.

.......

Yes YIKES, you could be a good player. Because a score doesn't matter. Just like the one guy who killed himself 100 times with C4 and then ended up winning every other round.

Also, for the quote. I normally only play FFA, and recently have been trying to get gold knife and that little shotgun pistol. Mostly at the same time. Hence why the KDR doesn't match the "30-2" comment. Because if you can think about what i'm saying...

I win 30-2 or better if i play to win, or i can have a 1.68KDR or lower simply because i'm not focusing on the KDR/winning but perhaps something like unlocks. Get it now? I don't let myself lose more than i win. I personally like to keep it even, and if i die 30 i have to get 30 kills to keep it even. Normally my max deaths is maybe 15. I agree when people said that weapon was bad.

I never seem to do good with shields, it slows me down and most of the time when i see someone using it. I jump out a window and follow them trying to catch me and stab them, or just run around them.

Also my SPM was 375 i think, but i'm not positive because i haven't been online for a week or so. Could be higher or lower.

KDR is a useful indicator to an extent. If someone has a KDR of <0.5, say, you know you probably would prefer them on the opposition team. Sure, in exceptional cases there might be a reason a good player has a terrible KDR (shared account, for example) but it's unlikely.

Similarly, if the lobby leaderboard shows me a player with a KDR > 2.0 then I really hope (s)he's on my team. Even if they camp hard and don't assist with objectives, they might put up some useful killstreaks and (crucially) they're not going to be feeding the enemy dogs and swarms like that 0.4 player is.

If you're not killing at least twice as much as you die then you can't be good

high kdr usually means the player is good and low kdr usually means the player is bad
that's why people judge skill by kdr. is it so hard to understand?

and no, if you play objective modes you should still probably at least be 1.0 unless you throw yourself at the objective with no worry about the person guarding it or whatever else.

I've always wanted them to show decimal/percentage whatever of how many times someone plays in a party

I think that would "expose" some players

What people don't get is that those high k/d players are helping the team win even more than than the guy who is 15-15 and playing for the objective.

I have a 1.5 k/d and my spm is around 420 yet my w/l is .70, i pray to god that i get those people who camps for scorestreaks since in turn helps me out when getting the objective.

in my experience those players are usually camping once those scorestreaks are shot down they usually never get them again
