Any LOGICAL reason why the orbital VSAT should exist?

#51SDCobalionPosted 1/7/2013 12:01:09 PM
Eh, I think that the VSAT should be at 1400, just ahead of the EMP.

Im going to hazard a guess that more people run VSAT than EMP, probably because the VSAT is generally more offensively inclined than defensively inclined like the EMP, and that the VSAT pretty much makes the game really easy, just stare at the minimap and bam, easy kills.

Im also going to say that the VSAT really only has 1 true counter (the EMP) because the CUAV can get hacked/shot down with proper support, and the fact is that CUAVS arent that common.

Having Hardwired hide you from the VSAT sounds like a good idea, although not many people would like it, i feel as though it hould have at least a proper counter outside the EMP, which is much harder to get *albeit only 100 points).

CUAV/EMP is not a realistic counter to VSAT. I doubt people will have a CUAV for every VSAT my team calls in.

I don't use them. They are cheap. I set my killstreaks to something that will benefit my team. Lightning strike, AGR, EMP.

I can usually get them almost every game.

So let me get this straight... the VSAT doesn't benefit your team...?

It takes more kills than the blackbird did. Stop relying on ghost to get streaks.

I saw someone get it with 4 kills on CTF. This "score"streak bull**** needs to go away.

You know what needs to go away? People who b*tch & complain and whine about every little thing. The VSAT is useful, OF COURSE IT IS! That is the entire point of a scorestreak. They are not that easy to get and I hardly ever see it being abused. Even with VSAT activated it doesn't mean your team is guaranteed to win. When it comes down to it, skills still trump scorestreaks overall.

i would thoroughly like to see you outplay someone who knows where you are, and what direction you are facing.

Anytime you would like to link me to a youtube video of you doing this, it would be fine with me.

The VSAT hate is hilarious, it's ok and fair to use a scorestreak that kills people on spawn but it's not ok to use a scorestreak which has many ways to counter? Emp grenades have a wide range for a reason, and if you can get a VSAT you can get an EMP...

Don't worry, you'll just get lightning strikes on your ass and lodestars blowing you up before you can get within range to kill anyway.
