IW had a lawsuit, lost a huge amount of key developers during the project so they ended up ripping off their previous title in every way they could.

Yeah well if I was the CEO of Activision I would have fired them too...

If he had waited until after they did that though than he would have had the grounds for the lawsuit. Instead they ended up filing suit against IW and IW settled out of court giving them probably a large sum of money. So not only did the two get out of their contract anyways, they still kept the money.

they actually walked out of that the winners.

I like mw3 more than blops 2.

The problems with mw3 were in no particular order:

Spawns (they got better over time, but still weren't perfect)
mp7 and acr overpowering everything in their classes
stealth bomber and support in general
no reason not to use assassin

Things mw3 did right:
Specialist
moabs

MW3 was fine. (sure deathstreaks and support were annoying at times but THE GAME ITSELF WAS FINE)

IMHO too many people were easily influenced by the Youtube community of why they didn't like it because there's NO CONSISTENT REASON(s) why the community didn't like it to say the MP40 of WAW

or

OMA/InfiniteTubes/Ammo/Grenades NukeBoosters DC Commando Painkiller Last Stand As a Perk from MW2.

I mean sure some will say Lag Comp, but others (including myself) didn't have a problem with Lag Comp at all. Some will say SRP, but it was really the S&D community that got butthurt by that the most. If you want to go with Support and Deathstreaks, OK fine but IMHO they weren't gamebreaking...

My only guess people didnt like the maps. I thought the overall game was good and ran smoothe. I can do better on blops2 without adding massive streaks like mw3. But running chopper strafe run and pavelow was awesome. Plus blops 2 gameplay is really unreliable

I refuse to believe anyone ran strafe run. Probably the worst KS ever.

Support Strike Package - sucked
Deathstreaks - sucked
Maps/spawns - sucked
Netcode - sucked
Weapon balance - Mediocre at best, poor at worst
Attachments & Weapon Proficiency - Good concept, poor implementation

Bonus: MoaBs dominating every gameplay on YouTube was stupid and CoD Elite was pointless.

Here we are in BOII were maps/spawns still pretty much suck and netcode also sucks but the other stuff is better.

You're a CEO of a corp, (heck let's go even lower) lets say you're a manager. You know that a couple of butthurt employees are gonna try poaching from your own, you're just gonna sit there and let them do that? Really?...

ALL CODS had something wrong with them. COD4 annoyed the **** out of me that it didn't have host migration. When host migration finally arrived, it arrived on the most broken game in the series. *UGH*

MW3 was far from perfect, but I still play it for specialist and MOABs because that was addicting as **** for me.

Basically I play MW3 for Specialist/MOABS, and BO2 for my Assault KS & gun attachment fix... (and yes I still play COD4 on and off as well)

Is it confirmed that's what they were gonna do? Or is that just the word of the CEO to cover their butt as to why they put out a crappy game. If I knew it was going to happen 100 percent, then I probably would do the same thing. If I wasn't though, I would let them build the game they worked so hard on, and then if they broke their contract file suit. Instead they jumped the gun, and whether its true or not that they were planning on walking, IW comes out looking like the bad guys.

Pretty much a free chopper for me anytime someone ran the strafe run
