the devs were idiots who seemed to have no idea what they were doing

If people thought the maps in MW3 were bad, what do they think of the maps in Black Ops 2? I for one can't stand the overwhelming majority of them.

I think that MW3 was one of the best ones regarding gameplay. You had strike packages that were fair for everyone. It gave people that weren't as competent as your regular GFAQs member (Joel, Moody, Raage, myself) the chance to make themselves feel better by still getting pointstreaks, regardless whether they would be getting smashed or not.
This bring forth a sense of overall gratitude for the casual player base who average 1 K/D or less. While also still satisfying the better players with the better strike packages (specialist and assault). This was unheard of until MW3.

The people that are complaining about certain issues (assassin, Sitrep pro, dominating weapons in classes) fail to realize that they can use those too since it is in the game. Sure, the lag and how it worked was a major downgrade from MW2's superior net coding. But it was (keyword: WAS) ironed out so it would be better for people who were experiencing these problems.

I think that the biggest problem with MW3 was Assassin Pro.

It did everything, with no reasonable counter. You'd think that with a perk called Marksman, we'd be able to see an Assassin user's red names above their head at the normal, but not extended range. Nope. One perk, invisible to everything except damaging killstreaks.

It was a bit much. Other than that, I had no real issues with the game.
