What exactly is dashboarding. Pulling the ethernet cable or quitting the game

Why do people have to do that instead of just back out of the lobby. As soon as I got my agr and stealth chopper in ffa and put em out some punk decides to dashboard. Those streaks arent even op. No sportsmanship these days.

quitting the game via the XMB (PS3) or the Dashboard (360)

You can also do it by pulling the Ethernet cable if you want as well. It's normally done because quitting this way doesn't save any of your stats (although I believe it still counts the loss) so it will not affect your K/D in anyway.

If the host Dashboards then the game cannot migrate hosts and kicks everyone back out to the lobby.

Midgame, your being stomped.

Xbox guide button > Y > Up > A.

You feel amazing because all you got was a measly loss, but you managed to preserve that sweet sweet K/D & SPM.
