I don't boost...not really sure why you're talking as if you know I'm a booster.

No offense, but you really don't seem very smart. Look, man:

1) Boosters don't ALWAYS boost. They boost until they get what they want. No **** the actual act of boosting probably isn't fun. It's the end result that they're looking for (the camos).

2) I agree, I don't care about camos. Some people do, though. And that's the thing: WITH BOOSTING YOU DON'T HAVE TO TRY SO HARD TO GET THEM. You just take the easy way out and get them in a matter of a couple of hours. I don't know why I'm having to explain this.

3) You can't ruin a lobby that is already full of boosters doing their own thing...which is the exact type of boosting that I've been defending. I already said that I'm against boosting in lobbies with people trying to play normally in them.

I don't know the first thing about you. You first responded to me. I was never talking to you , but was making a general statement. You made the first "quote " to acknowledge me. I never made the first statement about or to you. Go back and look. I find it funny that someone that is attacking my intelligence didn't figure that out.

That's the exact point I've been making. It is the easy way out. I've been saying that all along. Again go back and read. We agree. You don't have to explain it.

If there is a lobby full of boosters,(which I've yet to see) then it's just that. Full. Which means I'm not in it. If your saying that there could be a lobby that I get in, that may have multiple people boosting ie; two or three from my team and two or three from their team, that would be fun. Boosters are so easy to get. They're not paying attention to whats going on in the game. Only boosting. Which is what makes it so easy to ruin what they're doing. Pretty much everyone here will agree with that. I've yet to find some boosters that I couldn't get to.

I may have started the conversation between us, but when you put "yall" (glad to see another southerner, btw) at the end of that one post, you were lumping me in with boosters. Hence why I defended myself by saying I'm not a booster.

And it sounded like you were saying boosters go through all this trouble and hard work for camos...that's why I pointed out that that's the reason they boost, so they don't have to go through all that. Hopefully you can understand why I found it odd that I thought I had to explain that. I apologize for not understanding what you were trying to say.

As for boosters in regular game lobbies: yeah, it's always fun ruining their boosting. Like I mentioned, I agree that boosting in regular game lobbies is unfair and can affect others' experiences with the game. What I don't see, however, is how people who boost in their own lobby (an entire lobby of people boosting with eachother) affect others so much.

Yeah, like I said if the lobby is full then I'm not in it. Which means I don't care. It affects me none.

Boosting is a clear Advantage since it gives them a clear advantage over the people who dont cheat for camoes/attachments
(And those are clear advantage.

Seriously theirs no way to defend boosting. Its flat out cheating.

I had no idea aesthetics on guns give you a gameplay advantage. Who knew that woodland camouflage made you tougher to see? I learn something new about CoD every day.

Dear lord, I would have figured that most of GameFAQs is grown up by now. Do you meant to tell me that in 2013 there are still 13 and 14 year olds finding GameFAQs and signing up for message board accounts?

Because anyone whose balls have dropped wouldn't give a damn about boosting.

That is the second most ignorant thing I have ever heard in my entire ****ing life.

You seem to care far too much about CoD. Or video games in general. Get a life dude. inb4 you're the one on a video game discussion board.

But yeah, from what I've seen on this thread so far:

ITT:

If you try and say that boosting doesn't mean anything to you, you're automatically a booster.

If you hate boosters, apparently you are doing something really good with your life.

Boosters are dumb. They are ruining the game for themselves, but hat's how they have fun though, so let them be. I've boosted a few times back in Cod4 and MW2 in my own closed lobbies, and yeah, it was stupid. I don't mind people who boost in their own lobbies. That's perfectly fine with me, but when people boost in public lobbies, ruining things for everyone else, then that's when it's a problem.

But you people who hate boosters really need to get your priorities straight. You make it sound like boosters prevent you from getting a good night's sleep. You make it seem like when there are boosters in a VIDEO game, you are missing out on a significant quality of life. I mean, come on, boosters aren't even that bad. You ruin their boosting enough, they just leave your lobby. Now, on the other hand, if hackers are in your lobby, they will beat you into the ground while you are defenseless.

tl;dr, boosters, please stop. booster haters, get a god damned life, and start worrying about something else in your life that really matters.

Lmao it's pointless man. He's just going to keep accusing us of being boosters ourselves, and then continue his crusade to crush all boosters like the pathetic scum they are XD Making it seem like people getting attachments easily is causing some huge unfair advantage or some ****...what a joke.

Right... Like I am going to listen to you.

Sorry, bottom line, it is a form of cheating regardless of how you put it, regardless of advantages or not. It is also written against the rules.

If you want to boost, that's fine. If I can't find you, I won't report you. There is nothing I can do about it. But in my eyes, you are a bad player. And I won't support it.

I am glad a lot of users actively report them when they are caught. At least the community is moving toward the right direction.

No one is denying that it's cheating or against the rules. We're denying that it's a big deal, especially if they are in their own isolated lobby and not in a regular lobby.

Would you report someone for smoking a joint? Just curious. It is against the law...and you seem to be quite the stickler when it comes to rules.

And I hate to break it to you, but there will ALWAYS be boosters in CoD games. People will always find a way to take shortcuts. I advise you to just lighten up and realize that it's just a video game.

Explain how it's cheating. Go on, try.

Oh the mind of a boosting kid never cease to amazing me.

1. You are leveling up/achieving challenges/unlocks quicker through normal means. This also means weapons/equipments/perks are unlocked quicker.

2. If you are in a public game with other people, not only are you calling in scorestreaks gotten from unfair advantages, you are also changing the game's score to your favor.

3. And last but not least, your stats is also illegitimate. This ties in to closely to faking and accomplishment.

And regardless of how you try to defend it, it is still written against the rules under Treyarch and IW's ToS. Not to mention looked down heavily by many players.

So you can keep arguing to yourself how legit is boosting, but you won't convince anyone that you are good.

Never said it was a big deal to me. There are a bunch of boosters that go unpunished each day. Nothing I can do about it.

But they are still bad players regardless.
