Didn't shotguns work for you against MLC? Because I know for a FACT that they worked beautifully against MLC in my copy of MW2. Maybe you're right though, I could have been delusional and made all of that up. Flawless argument there, lol.

Interesting debate. Going back to the original question, which included removal of OMA and Commando, then definitely MW2 would be the best game, but later games did bring innovation that would be worth including:-

Pointstreaks - rewards objective play
Removed / Reduced streak stacking
MOAB - does not end game, unlike nuke
Specialist or Pick 10
Theatre mode - but only if it doesn't contribute to the lag as some claim
Combat record - a double-edged sword though as it makes some people care too much about stats

As for the MW2 debate, let me just add my voice to those who point out that great hit detection and solid netcode, as well as comparatively great maps and spawns (when compared to subsequent games) makes MW2 the last game to get the fundamentals right. We can quibble over the details, but the solid core of the gameplay experience was on a different planet compared to the lag, revenge spawns and invisi-bullets that dominate later games in the franchise.

On the other details that have been much debated...

1. If you think Commando was a real problem (of course it was cheap), you are either stone deaf, play loud music when gaming, or are just an awful player who doesn't know how to equip G18s or a shottie.
2. Yes OMA/DC ruined Ground War Dominaton mode in too many lobbies
3. Killstreaks were mightily powerful, but so was Cold-Blooded Pro plus Stinger. If you couldn't be arsed to make at least one situational CB class, don't complain about harriers and chopper gunners.
4. There was more, but it was just minor stuff, like scav refilling claymores. All games are subject to those kind of 'tweaking' debates.

First off, your goddess TimAndEric hasn't even mentioned anything in the game that is truly broken. Second, YOU haven't even noted anything that is truly broken. And you saying EVERY PLAYER having noobtubes with OMA/DC is a huge exaggeration. Not everyone likes to play like that. Many people actually like to earn their kills. I'm not pretending that it was barely used, it really BARELY was used.

I'm not delusional. You guys are the delusional ones for trying to complain about problems that aren't even really there, when it really just boils down to your personal skill level.

Couldn't agree more. I was thinking if MW2 had to add new things to the game, and take things out, the things you mentioned would be it. Pointstreaks would play so well in MW2. There would be even more reason to play the objective, and then there would be even less "campers" that everyone complains about (Although I don't)

Pick 10 is debatable though. I'm on the fence. I kind of want it in the game, and I kind of don't at the same time.

Er, absolutely not, lemme tell you why

- Nuke
- Heartbeat sensor
- No wildcards/Pick Ten
- No VSAT
- Single Player Campaign was meh (Russian terrorists plot some s***, okayyyyy, but what about real life??)
- Danger Closelolol
- I like Blops2 maps WAY more
- Shotgunning in Blops 2 is way more fun
- No diamond camo
- No theater mode
- No custom games w/ bots
- No party games
- No customizable reticles (I really effing like this, I wish they had more)
- No two player online support
- Zombies > SpecOpslmao
- No MMS, long barrel, stock, or fore grip

The list goes on, really...anyone who thinks MW2 was the best is simply wrong. Don't let them tell you different.

The idiocy of this statement astounds me! If it has a counter, wouldn't that make it balanced and not broken?? Did your brain fail to make that simple connection?
