So the actual map name is ''Great Leap Foward'' and the game mode is called Die Rise.

I was right about a short theory I thought about recently where I was thinking that every new map would have it's own unique game mode name, since 'TranZit' wouldn't work in a series of crumbling skyscrapers. I think 'Die Rise'' might have a helicopter as a vehicle to move to all the different locations.

Isn't Great Leap Forward just the name for the world or whatever it is, and Die Rise is still the map name?

As in, Great Leap Forward to Die Rise is what Green Run is to Tranzit

I think it's both. Because Tranzit is the game mode. But at the same time, all of the smaller maps(Diner, Bus Depot, Town, Farm, and Power Station) put together make up Tranzit. So in a way, Tranzit is the name of both the map, and the game mode. So I figure Die Rise is similar.

But that would be wrong wouldn't is as tranzit is a mode, not a map. Green run is the map. The world would have green run and every other map in it, but as this is doubtful to ever be the case the world is just the zombie map selecting hub.

I don't even think Treyarch knows.

All advertisements for the DLC say one new map and one new mode. Wouldn't it be two new modes if "Die Rise" was the name of a new mode?

I think what it is is that Tranzit and Die Rise are the actual NAMES of the map, and Green Run and Great Leap Forward are the locations of said maps.

Like how the mulitplayer maps do it.

No that map is called Green Run and the game mode is Tranzit.
I was walking down the road and got attacked by 313 pigeons. I look like the woman from Home Alone 2.
