Call of Duty: Black Ops II

So this is the best game for "guerilla camping" by far.

In pre-MW3 games there were fairly well defined power spots to cotrol the map. Starting in maps like Seatoen on MW3, the game began to reward camping in the dead center of the action.

Now in this title almost any spot on the map has a good 3 solid sightlines and a route behind you to cover with equipment. It's pretty easy to pull off bloodthirsties from almost any location that isn't just "standing in the open" on any map.

Has anyone else noticed this? It's probably due to the fast-paced nature of the game....

DON'T YOU 404 ON ME

I know not -all a'ya'll- are rushers. There are some amazing spots on every map to exploit that no one uses. I just golded an LMG per day in the past 3 days setting up shop in random locations.

A great spot is the whole courtyard and bottom floor of raid. It's the center of the action, but most people run through it or camp upstairs. Those people are predictable and eat AGR

Whoops! Not raid, STANDOFF. For the above ppst. Good spot on raid would be the entire basketball side. Staircase, rocks, and the partition under that upstairs loft. I mean this isn't traditional camping, but it's definitely a form of it.

In TDM -nobody- is prepared to deal with an AGR. If I'm doing objective modes I go stealth chopper > VSAT instead of the AGR

I'm not talking about not moving. I hold a 50-100 square foot area with good sightlines. If you hack my equipment I will turn and start spraying LSAT or I'll run you with the executioner. Now that I'm fully adjusted to this CoD it's pretty great.

I'm ot saying this always works, sometimes I have to say **** it and run around with an AR/SMG. But this game has the best opportuinities to set up in the middle of the action because every level funnels people. You just have to exploit that from different angles than everyone else to get the drop.

Ok, I'll give you that. A lot of TDM players don't really have a clue what they are doing haha.


It works in KC or basically any mode except domination or demolition. HQ, hardpoint, FFA, **** even CTF. People don't expect someone to do this.
