So, why have the Hardcore players been getting the shaft in this game?

#1TheSaucePosted 1/29/2013 11:57:05 PM
Honestly, in my opinion Hardcore in this game is far superior to Core mode, yet we don't have nearly as many game choices. Why? Where's my damn Hardcore FFA?

Why is there an option to play DLC-maps-only in Core, while someone wanting to play Hardcore doesn't get that option.

League Play. Hardcore. Where the hell is it?

I mean, is there really any good reason for this?

There isn't infinite room for playlists. Hardcore game modes are far less populated than Core, and thus, they get less playlists.

I can understand there only being so much room, but did they really have to not include Hardcore FFA? That's the only real reason I'm complaining. >_>

Hardcore is terrible...it amplifies every single connection based issue on the game by lowering the TTK. Getting killed by stupid teammates is not fun. Removing the mini map lowers the skill ceiling and renders most uses of stealth perks/tactics void.
And core is probably more realistic if you want to go that route. This game just isn't cable of dismemberment or disablement bc of previous wounds. But think. Would one smr shot to the foot instantly kill a person IRL? No, (if smr were a real weapon) they might bleed out, but it would not keep said person fightin back before death. To put 2-4 bullets depending on the caliber of the gun would almost instantly stop them (as it does in core).

Finally hardcore wouldn't be "kewl" if it wasnt called hardcore. If it was called, limited HUD mode or your character is so stupid he doesn't know how many mags he has left...less people would play it since it wouldn't pretend to have an elte skillset.

Play the game how it was intended to be played...a loosely realistic arcade shooter-core, instead of the completely lag dependent and severely gimped hardcore mode.

If you don't like HC that's cool...no need to act like anyone who prefers it is playing the game wrong or something. It's not like TC was one of those people who is claiming that HC takes far more skill and is for "good players" or anything. He simply said he finds it superior to core mode.

Lol wut.

If you have quick reaction skills and can predict where the enemy is, you can absolutely have so much for on HC. I've got a very very quick run n gun class for HC. SMG with 3 attachments, no perk 2, hardline n ghost and dexterity and two black hats.

First game, 3 vsats/emps/stealth chopper. Easy mode (if you're good).

Oh and you don't die from one SMG bullet to the foot. There's been countless times where I'm nearly dead (red bloody screen) for minutes on HC, and still manage to get my scorestreaks.

Most people play HC for around 2/3 games and then just quit because they can't adapt. If you play it for a full day, especially Kill Confirmed, I guarantee you'll be able to get your scorestreaks insanely quick.

The only thing MW3 did right was ricochet. If you shoot your team mate, you feel the damage. BO2 I get idiots who kill me because I actually run into there tag while turning around the corner, they get angry and take it out on me.

you got it in one, Hardcore is a fer more realistic game mode, see i can play core quite comfortable to a high standard but if you really want to test your reflexes and your overall ability at the game then hardcore is where its at, all i see on core is peeps running for the red dots on the mini map in the hope they snag a cheap kill. hardcore you get nothing to assist unless as a team you mix up the scorestreaks you use. for example when there are 6 of us in a party 2 run UAV, senty gun and choice of a third. 2 run with stealth chopper, escort drone and vsat the other 2 run with AGR sometimes vtol and swarm/poochies depending on what they fancy we win kill confirmed 100/30 all the time and pretty much all of us have a SPM over 400 with good KD ratio (mines 459 SPM and KD of 1.59 on core you get the spongy campers who rely on mini map too much. theres always one tool who says ''control your recoil and shoot the enemy'' core is more connection dependant than hardcore thats a fact most hardcore players can comfortably switch to playing core game modes however Core players get battered on hardcore cos they cant adjust to the fact they cant sponge 2 claymores a bouncing betty and a full mag from a pdw and still turn around kill someone and then heal.......... lmfao at elitist core noobs!!!!!!!!!
