counting the exe there looks to be 3 shotgun things in this game, so i made some

frankly, it's disappointing. There's basically the ksg (that gimmick sniper shotgun), the r870, and then the saigaexe1216

i drew a picture of the ranges of all the shotguns prepatch (with long barrel) (also yes i know the ksg goes up to 200 damage instead of 100 but you get the idea):

now according to treyarch they raised the m1216's upclose damage slightly. Hmmm that just makes the m1216 a closer clone of the saiga12 than it already was. And they say they raised the executioner's intermediate damage which was 10. That's weird though, raising that just makes it's damage profile look more and more like the saiga12. So the saiga12, m1216, and executioner all take 4/8 pellets to kill up close, 17/8 pellets to kill at range and all fire at 468 rpm. Really treyarch? That's the best you could come up with?

this game deserves a better class of shotgun, and i'm gonna give it to em

8 shell capacity
rpm: 65
pellets: 12
damage: (35 - 8)
range in inches: 275 - 550 - 650
note: follows the range profiles that treyarch has introduced in this game. In short, it does 35 damage out to 275 inches, then the damage begins dropping and reaches 8 at 550 inches, and then that 8 damage continues out to 650 inches

chiappa triple crown v
4 shell capacity
rpm: 60 rpm, 210 rpm if fully topped off i.e. if the gun has all 4 shells in it, the second shot is fired at 210 rpm, but then the last two shots must be pumped at 60 rpm
pellets: 10
damage: (40-8)
range in inches: 215 - 450 - 600
note: follows the range profiles that treyarch has introduced in this game. In short, it does 40 damage out to 215 inches, then the damage begins dropping and reaches 8 at 450 inches, and then that 8 damage continues out to 600 inches

i made another picture (with long barrel) :D. I took the m1216 and executioner off cause they're just like saiga clones, and the ksg because it just stretches the graph

Not sure why you're combining the S12 and M1216. They function pretty differently. The KSG on the other hand barely even functions as a shotgun, so I consider there to be only 3 shotguns in this game anyway.

he saying the other 3 all do the same damage. Though they do behave differently so i would still say there r 6 shotties

With the M1216's damage boost up close he's saying that the S12 is close enough to damage to be the same gun. When actually, the S12's damage drop off at range feels larger to make up for it's ability to pump out lead steadier making the M1216 more forgiving when you're caught while the S12 is more ammo efficient with, I want to say, better room clearing capability.

But, eh. That's speculation.

not only do the saiga12, m1216, and executioner all take 4/8 pellets to kill up close, 17/8 pellets to kill at range, all all fire at 468 rpm, they all start dropping off from the same distance, and all reach their minimum damage at the same distance. That's just lazy
