I like the new immunity to EMP nades. But what do you think about it? Do you think its balanced? Do you think it contends well against other tier 2 perks? I'd really like to hear your opinions about it.

Still the worst perk in the tier and probably the game.

It always gave immunity to EMP nades didn't it?

If it didn't, I never noticed.

Its barely any different. If they want to make it worth using, make equipment and killstreaks immune to EMP grenades when using Hardwired.

It used to have that annoying mini-stun effect as well as the screen-brightening even with HW. Now you can't even tell EMPs are going off nearby. The change is alright but nowhere near useful enough to warrant a point, especially not over either Toughness or Scav.

Still a garbage perk, as EMP nades are just an inconvenience anyhow. To be honest, since I pretty much only play Hardpoint, any time that I have my HUD and RADAR available is actually a bonus. If I had to play perma-EMPed (and most games, I do anyways), I'd be fine.

This would be so dope. So much so that I'd likely actually use HW. LOL

It went from Tac. Mask style protection to absolute, "not even effected for a millisecond" protection I believe. I know the later part is right, but I never used Hard Wired pre-patch.
And so begins a tale of vengeance and betrayal. Destiny by sinner sought. Tragedy by power wrought. Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume.

@Nidtendofreak

Affected* and yeah, this. Someone could throw an EMP right at your feet and it would affect the thrower more than it would affect you. It's a good step in the right direction but it's still worst in tier by a long ways.

I don't use CP but I think Hard-Wired should re-roll CPs instead of the already extremely effective Engineer.
