In Die Rise what is the Who's Who perk?

Last night i played with people who were experienced and knew everything about the level...so i thought.

We were on the roof by the juggernog and went up the one way ramp at the very top of the roof. When we jumped down into another building there was a two room area with an elevator...the elevator brought up a perk that the "experienced" players had no idea what it was. It looked like a normal machine but it had like a life preserver donut around it. We all bought it not knowing what it did.

Nothing happened.

But a couple rounds later one of the guys went down. And no one was around him ro revive him, except for some reason his revive arrow was white and not orange/red. We were all confused. Then he said he was back up and had his previous perks and guns back.

Later i went down. Same thing happened. An angel or invisible jesus started reviving me and all of a sudden i was up again except i was now shooting a pistol and in a completely different area than before. The pistol shooting didn't last long because within 5 to 10 seconds i was transfered from wherever pistol person was to another room with my original guns and perks....wtf??

I dont understand this perk. I can tell it revives you, but other than that i dont know what else it does. It kind of puts you in someone elses body? Or does it keep you in your own and teleports you? What the heck is it doing to me? Can anyone explain this perks meaning

"It essentially gives the player control of a doppelganger version of whatever character the player is when they get downed. While in this state, the player can revive themselves and other players. The player receives an M1911 but can also buy weapons off the wall. The player can also buy perks and open doors/barriers. The player can be downed, but ironically can be revived. It also allows the player to earn points while in their strange other self."

basically you go down, you can respawn as a version of your self that can buy perks and doors but cannot buy weapons, if you revive yourself, then you get all your perks and weapons back, if someone revives you then you get your weapons back I think? Then if your "ghost" is alive and you are revived, and you go buy another who's who, you get all your perks and weapons back again

Its the weirdest perk i have ever seen. And i was confused as to why i teleported from My body, to someone elses body with a pistol and then back to my body...and i guess its because i was a ghost for a couple seconds with the pistol and then someone revived me? Very weird stuff but kind of interesting.

yeah sounds like it, I guess they dont wanna spawn you too close to your "main body" incase you get immediately overrun?

But if someone else revived you, and you went and got whos who again, I think you get all your perks and guns back, if you had mule kick and lost 1 of them. I havent tried this myself but a someone in my game did that

Thanks guy for the information. I will get the Whos Who perk everytime now. It was very useful and i could assume it is needed. Especially if it is just one player doing solo.

It's problematic in Solo because it cancels out Quick Revive. But if you've used up all 3 of those, go wild.
