I think specialist would actually be much more balanced in this game than in mw3

And i think the primary reason for this is that perks like stalker, steady aim, quickdraw, and marksman have become attatchments as well as the removal of weapon proficiencies (pretty sure i spelled that horribly wrong lol.) Also the "sound" perks (dead silence and awareness) are extremely toned down from previous games.

It sure as hell wouldn't be overpowered. Most of the perks in this game are defensive perks (hardwired, tac mask, engineer, blind eye, cold blooded, etc.) and having to use up those valuable pick 10 points on a perk that potentially could be worthless depending on what the other team is using sucks.

I think you'd see a lot more people fully taking advantage of the pick 10 with the ability to use wildcards like primary gunfighter and tactician (just one example) in combination with the ability to simply gain your perks back through getting kills.

It'd be much more about letting you survive all the random crap that this game throws at you than making you an offensive juggernaut like in MW3.

I'm not sure what the score requirements would have to be for each perk gained. Maybe 1 perk every 250-300 points? then at 1000 or something you'd get the specialist bonus and gain all perks.

I would only run it if when i hit the specialist bonus i got immunity to the vsat and dogs

Did you think it was unbalanced/OP in MW3? Just curious, because I never remember anyone really complaining about it.

Lightweight + Dexterity giving you immunity to bullets Ghost not showing where you are and Flak Jacket + Tac Mask making you immune to grenades.

Mother of god.

Edit: And that's not counting stuff like Stock and Toughness. >_>

I would love to see that idea return. It was pretty much the prime selling point of MW3 for me. And I agree that most of the more valuable perks have been moved to attachments, so it would not provide the offensive boost it did in the prior game. Also, there are no weapon proficiencies in this one either, so that would tone it down a bit as well.

I have to agree with u the benefits of running it dobt always outgain the disadvantages. Even if they didn't give all the perks I think it'd be cool just to earn an extra 3 perks like for example flak jacket tac mask and scavenger.

I wouldn't mind having Specialist in this game, it was fun in MW3 and really didn't seem unbalanced at all... Way better than having everyone using the Stealth Bomber or EMPů all the time.

Overpowered? Not really...i guess. There was so much BS in that game (dead mans hand, final stand, stealth bomber, recon drone, sitrep, revenge spawns, etc) as well as blast shield sucking massive amounts of dick that I don't think some people realize just how effing good it made you. And pretty much the only way to kill someone on a specialist streak was by using one of those things.

You can already use all but one of those things together anyways.

gun with stock
flak and ghost
toughness
dexterity and tac mask

Are you seriously going to say that giving someone lightweight and a few defensive perks in place of scorestreaks that literally require zero effort and grant you free kills would be overpowered or somehow unbalanced?
