It's more likely it's their last pistol to get gold. And to be fair, you do have to "try hard" to get kills with that thing.

I still never ever see anyone using it.

Have been using it myself though, it's an excellent secondary. Trying to use it as a primary is when it makes you rip your hair out.

I actually really like having the Executioner as a secondary on my LMG classes, especially when doing no perks.no attachments. Surprisingly, it's also quite effective as a primary when I run suppressor and fast mags. Not even kidding, I went 22-4 with it in a TDM on Raid. Earned a Stealth Chopper which was immediately shot down.
