Stealth Chopper vs Escort Drone

Okay, so I've used the stealth exclusively for quite a while, and it's a mixed bag in terms of performance... Sometimes it'll go on a run and get 5-6 kills, sometimes 1 or even zero. Haven't tried the escort at all, but is it worth the extra score? Or is the performance essentially the same?

It all depends on whether the enemy is shooting s*** down.

That being said, when it manages to stay up, the Escort Drone is much much more effective than the SC. Though the SC is no slouch either.

Think of the ED as like having a MW2 Pave Low following you around. It's that good.

Escort is sick when you go under the boat in Hijacked. It straight up wrecks shop.

I don't think it's worth the higher score. Stealth sort of does it's own thing while escort will follow you. I feel like since the stealth doesn't show up on the map people have a harder time shooting it down then the escort even though the escort flies lower. The escort will prob get you more kills but it's also more map dependent.

I find the stealth chopper to be a lot more reliable. Escort Drone can give away your general position and because they can see it on the radar they are more likely to hide indoors from it. With the stealth people barely notice or think they are ok to move about and end up dead.

Although I've only used escort a few times, I worry that it steals kills if you're already shooting at someone but is better protection. The stealth chopper is sort of on its own.

I think they are both good. But the Escort Drone usually gets more kills than Stealth choppers.
Or you can just run both!

I run both all the time with VSAT.

As the poster above you said, just run toward the red triangles. It's dirty effective in games like DOM or Demo. Just sit by the objective you're trying to protect.

Escort drone for KC and TDM
Stealth Chopper for Domintion (chopper on top of B lol)
