what carries over after prestige and what gets lost

I am new to online play, i was always an online halo guy and offline cod guy. But all my friends play cod so i figured i would give it a try. Depending on what crosses over after prestige i may just get there and do some weapon challenges.

You still have to unlock the weapons and perks by getting to the appropriate level but when you get back to your favorite weapon, It will still have Its level.

The weapons lock again based on whichever level you need to be to unlock them. The attachments only lock if you prestige the weapon. You get a permanent unlock token and you also get the option of adding an additional create a class spot or resetting your stats like you never played the game.
