Will that help fix the lag and the highly inconstancy in my connection? I didn't even know I could do this until today... >_>

Step 1: Have you tried it?
If you answered "YES" proceed to step 2. Otherwise, try it, then come back and restart step 1.

Step 2: Did it improve your lag/inconsistencies/etc?
If you answered "YES" problem solved.
If you answered "NO" then it doesn't fix the problem.
