Although, seriously, considering the Internet holds pretty much the sum knowledge of all humankind, but people still use it to watch animals saying words.... We'd only be lying to ourselves if the holodeck didn't turn into a massive porn frenzy, with people only popping their heads out to eat kebabs/pizzas from the wee machines that make food.
^As unfortunate as the second paragraph is, I must agree.
