No, it only unlocks every gun, perk, equipment, etc.

Although I wouldn't mind if they gave me the Diamond knife since I'll probably never use the shield... <_<

Shield's not that bad. One bash kills in Hardcore, and the specialty camos aren't overly difficult (unless you suck at chucking tomahawks).
