Depends on the cost. For instance, Season Pass in America costs only $50. Each Map Pack is $15 each, leading to $60 overall, and a $10 saving. In Australia though, Season Pass is $65.95, each pack is $21.95. We save $21.85, or 10 cents away from a free map pack by buying the Pass. Do the math and see if it's worth it. Overall I'd say SP though

The season pass is only good if you KNOW you will buy all the map packs. The idea there is so that you'll save $10 in the long run.

It really boils down to whether or not you're going to play the game all year long. If you're not going to play it all year long and just want to check things out and have $15 to spend... then you can buy Revolution by itself. Ultimately, you'll only have spent an extra $15 as oppose to $50 which you wouldn't use anyway.

If you plan on playing BO2 through when MW4 comes out waaaay off in November, then yeah IMHO it only makes sense to buy the season pass...

I could care less about the campaign in COD anymore, and yes it may be "MW4" or it could be a new storyline series. All I know is that there will be a new COD in "Late" 2013...

It is probably not going to be Modern Warfare 4 because Call of Duty 2013 may be developed by Sledgehammer Games and Neversoft according to several sources:

Wut. Even if they don't continue the MW series, which I think they will, Infinity Ward still exists.
