Hardwired should block VSAT

Or downgrade you on their screen to UAV tracking, also letting you combo with Ghost to fully keep you off while moving if you have it equipped as well. The first option is the easiest but It may or may not be too big of a buff depending on what people will be willing to give up to double perk with toughness. The second option however would require two perk investments to counter, which is more than fair.

This kill streak needs some kind of counter, it's just too good (always is). It not only nearly guarantees the person who calls it in their next streaks but also nearly guarantees their teammates as well. I only ever play with randoms but if someone on my team or I get VSAT then it becomes a chain of us getting it back and forth guaranteeing the win or people quitting. Same if it's used against a team I'm on.

Hadn't he said he wanted only justice? But I couldn't. I could not tell her.
It would have been too dark, too dark altogether.

You mean the one thing people actually go out of their way to shoot down lol. I use counter UAV, it's the only thing I ever put up that gets instantly shot down, people can't go without their radar.

That wouldn't make people use it though they would just have a class with it on to switch to when required. This wouldn't be fair IMO. The best way to balance the vSat is to make it for the users eyes only.

I think a nice buff for hard wired would be to dissort the radar of enemies in your vicinity like your running round with an MW3 jammer.

You don't unlock that until level 33 which is just stupid considering how UAV centric this game is. Not only that but it is a 600 point streak. Earning that while playing with a bunch of randoms is not as easy as it sounds in anything outside of KC and even then with lag involved it still isn't simple.

As a response to the typical "play with friends or in a party" response, the issue is that it isn't fun due to the connection issues. Most of my friends live all around the US and trying to play with them with the connection issues this game has is truly infuriating. Playing solo, the lag is still bad, but it isn't unplayable.

Playing in a party and a lot of times playing against a party puts one team at an immediate disadvantage thanks to connections being as sporatic and non-standard as they are in the US. Adding in the random Canadian or other non-US player that this game puts into my "best" connection games and it makes for a "fun" time to say the least.

As for the topic, that is actually an ok idea. This would actually make hardwired a perk worth running. Even with its benefits now, it isn't worth using unless the entire team is just spamming EMP grenades which I have thankfully seen less of. While not a bad thing as I don't care about my hud too much but the loss of the kill feed and the constant annoying sounds they make are what annoy me the most.

You're playing with much better randoms than me. Whenever I call in a VSAT the players on my team invariably start dying more often and totally abandon the objectives too, in order to chase the pretty triangles.

I love the VSAT but I'd be totally okay with it swapping costs with escort drone. Nothing should counter it, other than CSP, as otherwise it loses its special factor and becomes nothing more than a glorified Advanced UAV.

The only time I've ever used Hardwired was when I was leveling my R870 and had an open slot and no green perk. Figured what the hell, it'll help with map awareness since I'm running a shotty.

The only reason counter UAV gets shot down so fast is because of how noticeable it's effect is, unlike an actual UAV which you don't see the effect. They should've made it so counter UAV left your minimap but made you the only dot on it, no gunfire dots, no teammates, no objective markings, etc. that way people wouldn't immediately be inclined to shoot it down.

It's for this reason that stealth choppers are so effective, unless of course it manages to mow down someone who has an anti air class constantly.
