Call of Duty: Black Ops II

If I use the option to create a new custom class slot, do I lose one of the defaults classes? If so, which one? Also, after I prestige again, what happens if the weapon in that slot is locked?

For example, I am L55 2nd prestige now (forgot to use the CAC option first time around). If I add a CAC slot with a FAL, what happens once I prestige back to L1, 3rd prestige?

You lose the starter classes one by one with each custom pick, starting from the top one. So next prestige when you hit level 4 the Skorpion class will be gone, then down the line each time you choose the extra class reward.

Thanks. What happens if I have locked equipment in that new slot? I.E. I put the FAL in it before I prestiged, but I didn't use an permanent unlock token for it. Will it be available when my CAC spots open after I prestige?

No you don't actually save an entire class it's only giving you the option to have more slots for custom classes instead of just the original five. If you want the FAL you have to use that one permanent token you get from that prestige and use it on that, everything else you had on that class will have to be re unlocked like before unless it's another item you used a permanent token on
