Wayyyy tldr; but a great solo strategy for anyone interested. I've been consistently successful in my recent Die Rise matches (30+, sometimes I have to bail because of real life stuff, but this can easily go forever). I'd like to share my strategy and perhaps get feedback or suggestions. This is solo: Round 1. Take the service elevator down immediately. Grab an elevator key part on the ground-this isn't absolutely necessary. Kill a few zombies to gain 750 points. To maximize your point production shoot 1 or 2 times then knife. You may need the bullets for later rounds if you don't get a max ammo so lean on the knife early. Jump across the gap to reach the other building. There may be a part to the sliquifier in the kitchen room directly in front of you when you walk into that area. If so, grab it/swap parts. Open the door to the power (750 pts) and turn on the power switch. From this point you will be able to obtain 3 of the 4 parts to the sliquifier WW. I'll try and list the areas, but it may be easier to check youtube. 7 Possible areas, with 1 spot where there is ALWAYS a part. List: The first spot I mentioned when you jump across the gap, a bottle on a sewing machine table near the power switch, or a part on the ground by a sewing machine, very close to the dual elevators. These are the three spots on the floor with the power switch. There may be 3 parts there or zero. The next floor down, where the work bench for the Sliq is, also has 3 possible part locations. They are all in the small area surrounding the work bench- just hug the walls and you should be able to find them easily. Again, there may be 3 parts down there or 0. It varies from game to game. You can only get three of the four parts for the weapon by round 1, so go ahead and kill the remaining zombies, doing your best to maximize point production. Probably end with around 700 pts. --- I have to return some video tapes...
Round 2. Kill zombies effectively until you gain 1000 pts needed to open the couch debris leading up to the second floor. Looking straight ahead you'll see a small foyer with a tv and a couch. The final sliquifier part is on the ground here. Grab the part and finish the WW. At this point you should be able to handle anything thrown at you and you can do your own thing, but I'll procede with my next steps. You can finish off round 2 and fight round 3 on the roof, but you may be low on 1911 ammo. Sliquifier doesn't yield many points, either. I generally leave the roof on 2, letting a zombie or two trail me. Jump to the other building and you'll find yourself in the trample steam room. I personally don't bother building it, because it is time consuming and not all that useful (in my opinion) but some people love it. That's up to you. Jump down to the matteress on the right. Go down, down, down until you get to the hall where the An 94 is. Round 3. Save up the 1200 necessary to buy the An 94 and 750 to open the couch debris leading to the next area. Avoid the sliqufier unless you're in an oh **** situation. Maximize points with headshots. Once you have enough do both of those things proceed into the next room, the Buddha room. Finish out the round. You probably won't have enough points to do anything else at this point. Round 4/5. Train in this room maximizing point production by getting headshots. Leave 2-3 zombies and travel back to the other building by jumping the gap. Depending on how many points you have you have a couple of options: Buy claymores for 1000 pts. Jugg at 2500 or the Bowie knife for 3000. I recommend claymores first- they are one hit kill against the crawlers. Bowie over claymores if you have the 3000 as it is one hit kill on crawlers to round 15 (third crawler round). I see this as an investment; if you have the proper equipment you can gain the free perks from the crawlers by melee or claymores. If you aren't aware you have to be 100% accurate. missing a knife swipe doesn't matter, missing an an 94 bullet or sliqufier shot does. Round 5 and beyond. Chances are you'll encounter the first crawler round at 5, sometimes 6. When you do- and this is just my method, there are others, walk to the top of the broken pillar, the one where you can fall off the back. Crouch and have your claymores in your hand. The crawlers will have to come straight at you up the pillar ramp, just place a claymore in their face to blow them up. Of course you only have 2 claymores per round. The crawlers will meet you face to face at the top of the pillar. Usually one at a time. Knife them, try to avoid shooting so you can pick up the free perk. You can drop down behind you and train if it gets hairy. The room is big enough where you can circle with the crawlers and pick them off one by one. Now, some may consider this an exploit, but I do not. Once the waves get heavier, stand at the top of the broken pillar where you stood against the crawlers. Zombies can only come straight up the pillar and can't smack you on your sides. If you spray a sliquifier blast at the base of the pillar they will not be able to climb and you can pick off headshots from your perch. Be careful to re-apply the sliq juice as it eventually fades. That's about it. If your timing is on and you are well supplied by max ammos you can do this forever. If it gets heavy, fall off the back of the pillar and train the room. This is ridiculously easy, even for novice players. My high round failures have been from doing something stupid like sliding off the roof. Good luck. --- I have to return some video tapes...
You can get the 4th piece of the sliquifier at round 2 as well without paying anything if you ride the elevator shaft thats all by itself(next to the remmington) --- GT and PSN: ReCrisis Kick back, relax and enjoy the world around you~!

Tip that i learned from a random was that you can place claymore facing a wall against a wall every round, then you can buy 2 more the next round even though your original 2 are still up. He stocked up on claymores throughout the rounds and used them when he needed them. --- GT and PSN: ReCrisis Kick back, relax and enjoy the world around you~!
"Now, some may consider this an exploit, but I do not." No, standing still and firing one shot every 20 seconds isn't an exploit in a survival game. Not at all.

Great strat that all players should use and know about by now but no.
People like you make the leaderboards irrelevant for legitimate players. I'm sure everybody on this board will agree that this is definitely an exploit. I know that people will say "lolleaderboards" but I'm quite proud of my solo round and now I am 5,000th in the world instead of 600th when I got there - and I'm called a glitcher/exploiter. Please try and use non-exploit zombies tactics, for the sake of the community. --- All 33 gold guns in MW3 + 2500 Desert Eagle kills. |
