Anyway, I never use Overkill so I want some ideas. Here's one I just thought of:
M27 w/ RDS + Stock
R870 w/ Laser
Toughness + Fast Hands
Engineer

Assault Shield
Random primary
Random equipment, and perks
I use it for messing around, pretty funny when I creep around a corner, and plant it while someone's unloading on me, and I just stand up and kill them. Let them look upon my diamond shield while judgement rains down on them! or not ;)

For the last 2 points I change it around. I either add Ghost as an extra perk (would swap this for Hardline if playing in a party)
OR
C4 & EMP grenade
The naked Vector is actually surprisingly okay, so I'm giving it some love. |

Of all the ARs you pick m27.... Just because it excels at long range. It feels redundant to use anything else as I can use that at close range without problems, unlike the M27 which can be risky. However, I might consider the SCAR as I find it sucks at close range. Really though, I actually like the M27 because I good aim therefore I find it more consistent, which means I know when I can use it and when I can't. I also love it for picking people off of headglitches when I normally wouldn't stand a chance. This class is so effective I'm pretty surprised I don't see it all the time, my only guess is because mostly everyone is using SMG (although I would think sniper backup would be effective for SMG). But with this class you can dominate objective game types both attacking and defending at any range just by switching between the two accordingly. The only downside is no lethal or tactical.
