It increases the accuracy for hipfire letting more bullets hit the target without having to aim down the sights. Saves time and keeps you moving. Nothing wrong with that especially in close combat situations.

unless these games have changed since the last time i bothered with a laser sight i believe you still have to aim

i can do all of this with irons

not only that i can add something that will decrease recoil or allow me to move faster ads, etc

Treyarch has done a fairly decent job keeping this game balanced, so I think it is highly unlikey that any "best" class actually exists. Personally i would recommend something like: M1216 w/ long barrel and extended clip, perks: lightweight, scavenger, perk 3 greed w/ engineer and tac mask, 1 claymore, 1 stun. Just kill someone and pick up there gun to get a long range secondary. It is not the best but it is fun.

Surely whatever your preference is, is the best class in the game?? Your class you mentioned on the opening post won't be the best for me... Or a lot of others who play this game I should imagine.

Laser sights, Lightweight, Toughness, C4, Shock Charges - I have hardly used apart from to see what the guns are like / picked up from dead guys for the challenges and haven't used them since (I was an AR guy originally). I do pretty well with my Peacekeeper now though. The only thing I use you have mentioned is on 3 / 5 of my classes is extreme conditioning if I'm not using engineer and my EMP 'nades / Black Hats.

I will admit though, a guy stuck some C4 and then putting a shock charge on top of it waiting for the shock, then BOOM! I thought that was pretty sneaky and amusing as I'd never seen that combo being used like that before (maybe I haven't look hard enough). But then - Engineer and EMP grenades / Black Hats soon stopped him from doing it for the rest of the match when I detonated his C4 for him a few times.

But the laser sight provides a tighter spread on my gun so i hardly have to do any aiming whereas you actually have to keep your iron sights on me, in which i can be doing a variety of thing such as strafing, drop shooting, or jumping because it's incredibly easy to aim with a laser sight on.

If you need something to decrease recoil on an SMG class WITH suppressor and that is designed to be CQC oriented you're terrible and shouldn't be playing this game. Only things that could replace the LS would be Stock or Fast Mags but the LS is just too effective in terms of killing people.
