Quitting a game early is reportable and shouldn't be viewed as harsh at least in my opinion. There are plenty of people who don't quit because they are losing or not getting the amount of kills, score, or objectives they had hoped. Quitting because your not getting what you want is immature, childish, self centered, and egocentric. 25 - 35 years ago this behavior was unacceptable, but because we are now a "no child left behind" and "everyone gets a trophy" kind of nation (so not trying to be political) we accept this and go about our day as normal.
I swear that I haven't reported anyone for quitting early in BO2, but I have in other games - so what makes this one an exception? The answer is there are so many people playing that we are too lazy to voice our opinion. Would it do any good, probably not. But if enough people started doing it, then that would change.
I didn't want to rant about this, and this isn't my intention. Just an observation that if this is acceptable to us now....what comes next?
