The Target Finder actually does increase accuracy in a way.

When your character looks through the Target Finder, he pulls it right up to his face, eliminating most of the visible gun model. This is in contrast to the other optical attachments, where you can still see most of the gun, like with iron sights. What this does is it removes the "gun kick" element of recoil, which has an effect on overall accuracy under sustained fire. This is why shooting guns with the TF equipped makes them seem more accurate.

In short, there is some validity to people who claimed the TF was unbalanced compared to the other optical attachments. It does make shooting people easier, not just identifying them.

Here's also something to note: The enemy highlighting doesn't really help to find enemies, but it is great to maintain fire on them. Between muzzle flash, enemy movement, or other things, it helps to always know where to put your aim in the middle of a gunfight.

I still don't think it is OP.

I disagree, it really does help you find enemies. Since I'm imposing a "no toughness challenge" on myself have the luxury of equipping CB on my long range classes, but that thing is ridiculous sometimes. The Target Finder takes all the guess work out of finding somebody. Is one of their ass hairs poking out from behind cover 2 miles away? Here's a red diamond around them. In a game that is 90% who sees who first this is a BIG deal.

I don't think it's overpowered either though, they just need to give people more reason to use CB, or less reason to use Toughness.

But their accuracy outside of the box is 0%. Everyone always focuses on the times they were killed by TF, but not the times they killed a TF user because they were outside of the box.
