How do I make Black Ops 2 fun again?

I don't like the way the game feels and plays, but I did enjoy it temporarily during the first 3 months of it being out.

not play it
one of the worst fps out there, and possibly one of the worst mainstream fps ever due to lag and terrible maps

I just try a new gun every now and then. Experiment with different classes and setup keeps me interested.
