Have you noticed that maps in this game are remade versions of older maps?

Most maps in this game are remade maps of older versions. For example.

Aftermath=Downturn (MW3)
Hijacked=Wetwork (MW2)
Downhill=Outpost (MW3)
Slums=Village (MW3)

Just to name 4. Are Treyarch running out of ideas? They really need to keep maps fresh instead of remade versions of old ones. Maps like grind from DLC, that was an original map so I'll give them credit there. What do you guys think?

Wetwork was COD4. Besides being on a boat, it plays nothing like Hijacked.

Downhill=Outpost. Ummm OK there's snow. That's about it. Everybody just basically moved along the outside perimeter on Outpost, and Downhill is more open. Plays & looks no where near as linear as Outpost. If anything it's a smaller version of Derail at best, minus the 2nd floor middle building.

Village is much bigger than Slums. Village is more of a Jungle, and is easier to flank.

Really the only thing I can agree upon is the Aftermath=Downturn because they both sucked...

Just because they use similar locations does not mean they're remakes. None of those maps play a alike, sure some of them are set in the same country (countries with distinct architecture no less) but as a previous poster said, it's all aesthetics.

Standoff feels like a mix of crash and strike.
Hijacked is kinda like wetwork, but better IMO.

I would say slums is more like ambush (ambush was better).
Downhill is more like salvage from MW2, but stretched out a bit.

Aftermath feels nothing like Downturn, since there are two distinct sides, whereas downturn is just a mess.

Kinda true. Hijacked is like a cleaner/organized version a nuketown.
