Why is it sad that people work hard to win and try to make some money? I wish I could be young and play 10 hours and make money playing call of duty. I just get to spend 10 hours kissing customer asses and giving zjs in a parking lot.

more sad tbh. The people talking were just... like, had to be a joke. super pathetic lol
EDIT: Several of them, at least. The ones talking about how much they grinded for their spot
Can you be more specific? If not, then that's fine. What is sad, or almost implicitly pitiful about the players? By that I mean, your words make it seem as though you look down upon them.
Again, if you don't want to explain yourself, then I don't have any problem with that. I know you aren't a moron and I can expect a regular conversation with you.
Most of the pro players run scrims ~3 hours a day and play maybe another 2 whenever they feel like it. These guys are talking about spending 40 hours at a time on the game, playing 10 hours a day and s***. I'm all for enjoying something you're passionate about but I feel like those are some seriously excessive lengths to go to in order to qualify for an event that they have no chance of winning considering they're up against teams like Fariko, OpTic, nV, and complexity.
