Is it still worth using? I'm 4 levels away from unlocking SF on it. I was just wondering because of the nerfs.

It's still usable I guess, but you don't need SF on that thing; the M8A1 fires at like 900 RPM in burst mode. It's plenty good as it is.

It's not good enough to justify using a lot, really. The other assault rifles are generally better if you're looking for fully automatic.

Why? SF on the M8 is clearly pointless. SF SWAT is better in every way, and the burst M8 is better due to less recoil.

Why? SF on the M8 is clearly pointless. SF SWAT is better in every way, and the burst M8 is better due to less recoil.


It's not bad if you're going to switch to it for close range and then change back to burst for long range, but if you're strictly keeping it on full auto then you're probably better off just using the Swat. Or even the Type-25 for that matter.

Changed my mind. I'm using SF Chicom. Just to remember those overpowered FMG9 days from MW3.
