Just played one round so far, but my first impression is that it's a LOT better than Tranzit, which i hated (foggy, ugly, burning ground, flying monkeys...ugh to it all). I like the concept more than Die Rise, but i haven't played enough to tell how i feel overall. I think i like it more. The layout is more normal, which neither die rise or tranzit had without going super-small like town or nuketown.
The EE isn't building the plane... That merely sets the stage to do the actual EE, "Pop Goes the Weasel", which is just as convoluted (if you don't cheat off Youtube that is) as the other EE's. --- RIP Sacred_Asylum 4/1/13 Watching you play SnD is like watching Mozart paint a picture. It's absolutely beautiful. -supercoolisaac
First time I played, I got to round 8 with my friend, then failed. We played again, got to 30, then my friend had to go, so we ended it there. I was using the PAP'd Acid Gat and PAP'd Death Machine, while my friend used a PAP'd Acid Gat and PAP'd Ray Gun. Death Machine is amazing. It absolutely destroys everything, unlike the other LMGs, which I'm not even sure you can get. Acid Gat seems to have a monkey bomb type effect. It stops the zombies it hits, and I'm pretty sure the other ones run towards them.
MotD is the only zombie map ever that I haven't gotten 20+ solo on the first couple days since release. 18 is my max... I've only tried like 4x solo so far though. I'll get further than 20 soon though for sure. --- GT: whosyodaddeh
