C/D Flinch shouldn't be in the game

toughness-level flinch should be default. I'm basically playing Pick 7 on all of my classes because I like Scavenger and Toughness is mandatory for even semi-serious play

I found a way around it by using Extended Clip instead of Scavenger. Also I don't use lerthyrs or tacticals since I'm used to running Specialist in MW3 where you had to play without those things.

And yeah flinch is a dumb game mechanic.

It adds randomness* and randomness is horrible in any means of "skill" play (lolcodskill).
Default should be like toughness now, and toughness should be almost non existent.

I shouldn't lose a gunfight having first shot just because a flinch them up to my head while I get hit once and aim off to Neverland. This makes toughness almost mandatory (like they said before) if you plan on living long by winning heads on fights consistently.

Yeah you can play without it, but it makes fights stupidly easy to have it on.

Shouldn't be there, but if it has to, toughness should be baseline and toughness should reduce it to nothing. This isn't that much of a stretch, given the bonuses other perks give you; flak jacket makes you be able to take millions of explosions where you couldn't before, tac mask makes you effectively completely immune to concussions whereas before you were stunned for 10 full seconds, etc

I find it odd when guys talk about the C4 and various other weapons being OP and cite realism. Then in the next thread they say you shouldn't flinch when shot. Really?
