C/D Call of Duty Ghosts should have scorestreaks instead of killstreaks

Personally I feel scorestreaks are better, it rewards you for getting kills and playing the objective, while killstreaks reward you for only killing people.

Scorestreaks is just awesome. I don't see a reason to go back to killstreak. But IW games are copy pasted they can bring even deathstreak back

I never played a cod game before black ops 2, but I don't see what's wrong with scorestreaks. Killstreaks is too darn hard. My understanding is you would need a 12 killstreak for a VSAT in black ops 2...with scorestreaks, you get assists, equipment destroys, and objective caps that help you out. I like scorestreaks.

C

But they need to be balanced better. Sometimes playing the obj gives you too many points. Especially getting capture kills in dom, that ish is crazy.

It's a nice perk of doing what you are supposed to do.

in black ops1, 8 kills (7 with hardline) will get you the Blackbird which is this game's VSAT, but even then Killstreaks promoted more camping than scorestreaks do so i say keep score streaks, although IW will probably copy and paste MW3 into Ghosts

I liked the idea of Assault/Support/Specialist, and I think they should be brought back with some changes:

Assault Package
- Only contain Offensive (killing) scorestreaks
- Reset upon death
- Killstreak kill points are closer to "kill score" than Support (around +50-+75 depending)

Support Package
- Only contain Defensive (support) scorestreak
- Upon death, the user loses 100 score*
- Can only get each scorestreak once unless [a] you reach your highest and it resets or [b] you return to 0 score**
- Scorestreak Support points are low like BO2 (UAV Assist +10, ect)

*This way, you are indeed punished for death unlike the support of MW3. Someone going 22-23 will likely not be throwing up an EMP unless they played the objective highly.

**Cannot get UAV, die, kill and get another UAV (repeat).

Specialist Package
- Only contain perks or weapon specialties (if they return, like Kick/Focus/Range/ect)
- Score resets upon death

- Chain as follows (in terms of score acquired):
200 = Unlock 1 Perk/Specialty
450 = Unlock 2 of Perks or Specialties
700 = Unlock 3 of Perks or Specialties
1000 = OMA Unlocked

Also, instead of only have one chain (Blops) or attaching one Chain to each class (MW3), you should have Custom Chains (start with 2, can get new ones similar to new Classes up to 5). They are selectable in game exactly like Custom Classes when paused. Please note:

- New chain will not take effect until after death.
- You forfeit ANY saved streaks or accumulated score from the previous chain.
- Besides the initial selection, you are limited to 1 change per game/round. To prevent a constant scorestreak switching (Start off with huge streaks; realize your playing good opponents and switch to lower ones; realize they're using more Assault Packages so you switch over to Support; Group of players get kicked and bad kids join so you switch to high again; Final two minutes so you switch to low end ones to get them in time; ect)

tbh i'm not a big fan of scorestreaks ... killstreaks were just fine imo, esp. as finally doing objectives also counted towards your streak.

Tbh there isn't too much difference, except that you supposedly have various ways of accumulating the score with scorestreaks, however it doesn't really impact me in any way so i prefer the traditional system

I also do like the support system as it can be pretty useful for some gimp setups that will most likely not reach high streaks. I also like the UAV-CUAV - Adv.UAV combo, which gives me pretty consistent knowledge of enemy positions/movement ... and is in quite a few cases a lot more "lethal" than some assault streaks, esp. when your team actually takes advantage of the minimap. And i just LOVE ballistic vests on shotgun setups!

But killstreaks encourage more kill****** in Objective Game Modes. Scorestreaks reward you for actually helping your team which is better IMO.

D. I don't think COD games should have any streaks. Or at least only low powered ones.
