How would you have played this out based on what happened throughout the round? Was really up against a crapshoot... Wasn't sure how I should've played it to be honest with you. Don't understand or agree with that defuse either...
Also, the part right after is a 1v1 with them planting, did I play it right? Don't think the guy could've seen me from where I was unless he was looking pretty hard... They were aggressive with the bomb though.
If I'm close to an RC-XD in LP S&D, and we're up 2-1. I'm the last alive vs 3 guys and they planted, should I try to pick them all off and defuse (but might die without a kill and RC), let the time run out, or just try to pick off 1-2 from a distance and lose the round?
I really don't have a solid S&D strategy when it comes to things like that, just go big or go home is how I play it if I'm the last alive...
Also, if it's a 1v2 situation and I'm on offense, with 30 seconds left and close to an RC, what should I do if I can't find either guy? Go for the plant and probably die, wait it out and let them win, or just keep searching in hopes of getting 1 kill and the RC car for the next round?
Friggin awesome dude. I did something similar to that except it was Demolition lol.
Thanks. I got it and was hella excited about it actually.
One of the main reasons I made this topic was because:
A. BragFAQs B. How would you have acted in that scenario? Did I play it out correctly or were there smarter moves I could've made?
Then there's the end of that video, where it was 1v1 and I had to defend. If I was closer to a streak and that wasn't the final round, should I have let him plant it, then hope I can kill him then get the defuse for extra points? Or just kill him like I did to ensure the round win?
If you're close to a Lightning Strike or Hell Storm and can afford to lose a round then I wouldn't rush into a 1vMany situation, especially on a map like Cargo where those streaks can be very effective since both bomb areas provide no cover. RC-XD is more like a recon tool for me in SnD, rarely get kills with it since most enemies are smart enough to destroy or use FJ.
The key to winning SnD is too weigh up your opponents as soon as possible. Pay attention to what weapons they're using, what routes they like too take and how aggressive they play and use a suitable counter. If you know your rear is covered by a teammate don't be afraid to sit ADSing at a particular part of the map for an extended period of time.
