CoD2, followed by MW3.

CoD4 after that.

CoD4 and Blops 2 were the best.

I'd choose CoD4 though. Great times, Best connection, and Best Maps.

corrected: Best Guns, Best Maps, Best Connections. because of COD4, COD has been the King of FPS since 2007. thats a fact

CoD wasn't king until Reach killed Halo which was in 2010.

5 people voted for MW3? Wow. I voted for BO2 by accident. I meant to vote BO1.

Because it was just a copy&paste of CoD4 with worse hit detection and a story that wasn't quite as interesting. It did have the best Zombies as well as War, though.

However, CoD4 also reinvented online shooters like no other console game had before, adding in progression, unlocks, replay value, and more into the game. W@W only expanded on CoD4's success.

Yeah that's why PC accounts for a measly 5% of the total CoD playerbase....

probably because PC has more games than consoles and isn't the dudebro CoD/Madden console of choice.

Not really. CoD4 had pretty eh netcoding, so I'm always baffled when people tote it as the connection-peak of the series. It was consistent so you could often play around lag, but it was still really laggy and host advantage was insane.

I'm with you on that. You actually had to lead your shots depending on the connection. Every time I go for the opening picks on Bog or Countdown I have to lead the target differently. The best thing you could do on a bad connection in that game was use and SMG and strafe tons in every gunfight since the other guy would have to be a psychic to hit you.

W@W without the hackers. MW2 is a very close second though.

PC shows how much better CoD is without Aim Assist

"Best aiming" is subjective. As long as everyone is on a level playing field, there's no problem with whether or not there's aim assist.

PC has playable (and superior) alternatives to CoD, console choices are limited if you want near 60 FPS.

Aim Assist is a problem if you ever want to advance beyond quickscope-shoot tactics, when the game doesn't give you any incentive to. There's a reason most of you have it enabled - because you do better with it on.
