I'll wait till around March to pick a console after they are out a few months and the launch problems are known and starting to be addressed.

Xbox One does seem like the better system, everyone complains about the used games and always online negatives, but with that comes, no manual downloading updates, 300k dedicated servers, OS system dedicated for framerate, cloud power built into game development, skype, streaming twitch strait from Xbox, instant switching from games/blueray/tv/music, voice controls and kinect features out the box which can be turned off (camera on PS4 cost an extra $50), and probably some other things I'm forgetting.

Xbox One is actually trying something new and different, PS4 is just a stronger PS3 with no more free online. The only real interesting things PS4 is doing is letting indie companies self publish.

I will probably end up getting both, but Xbox One will probably be first, unless Sony does something crazy like buy exclusivity for Bethesda or Bioware.

Because manually downloading updates was such a huge pain. Dedicated servers were apparantly non-existant before Xbox One? The OS they use is based off Windows 8, skype will be on PS4 too, you can stream games in PS4s OS without the need for twitch, kinect was always bad and will continue to be bad, no one cares about a freakin camera. You're paying an extra $100 plus and extra $10 for xbl (Xbl is $10 more a year than PS+) for a system with worse hardware, the same games (Besides Halo, GoW, Titanfall, in exchange for other PS exclusives), being able to trade a game and having to have it check into the internet every 24 hours and not to mention a company that could give two flying ***** about the customers privacy. Have fun.

I am a pretty big fan of the Xbox, but $500 is not cheap for a console.

^ You know what, it's not even about the price tag. BOTH systems could be $500 and I would still get the Sony.

It's more about the "**** you" arrogance that Microsoft is having lately.

Here's the latest middle finger moment with Microsoft.

Up to this point I've been a big fan of Microsoft, and I still like Microsoft as a company, but IMO they're acting like too much of a **** over a console.

It's a freakin console. IMO it's sad that only Sony gets what gamers want, the ability to game without all the extra drama... :(

I understand, I feel the same way too.

I don't usually buy used games anymore (I honestly don't remember the last time I bought a used copy), however I am in full support that a gamer should be able to sell his game.

Depending on how it turns out, I might still get an X-one. But it is apparent that MS isn't setting their priorities on what a gamer wants. And you know what? They will get a lot of hate for it, and they deserve it.

I never understood how anyone would own a 360 w/o owning a Ps3.Ever since I bought my Ps3, I have not touched my 360.There just is no need.If all of my friends bought a 360, I still wouldn't play it.If they were real friends, they would own a Playstation anyway.

I'm switching to PS4, so I don't have to buy a glorified remote.

Please tell me you don't have to buy a remote just to function the damn box.

The Xbox One just doesn't seem very impressive to me. Just seems like a lot of voice activated bullcrap, and E3 has done little to sway that opinion. Most Xbox exclusives don't interest me too much.

This. The only game that was intriguing was Titanfall. But only because that was made by the original Infinity Ward team.

^ IMO it's not even worth getting that for next gen. The majority of gamers are still gonna be on the current gen, and you can get your DLC first on the 360.

Plus you know that there's probably gonna be launch bugs. IMO sit out a year and grab next gen for BO3.

Who knows, maybe Microsoft will be more "consumer friendly" by then...

I bought both...and sold my PS3 for $100 to a friend after about 2 weeks. Garbage console, garbage software, garbage network.

I agree 100% with microsoft here...when is the last time your xbox was offline for more than a few hours?

If you can't afford an internet connection, you probably shouldn't be spending time playing video games.
