Why do you get mad when someone with a target finder kills you?

#1supercoolrubenPosted 8/19/2013 11:43:10 AM
Do you think they wouldn't have noticed you without the target finder? Do you think the target finder aims for them or something? Maybe you were hiding in a pitch black corner of the map but the target finder still outlined you?

Only when they spend the whole game hiding behind something with it on an LMG. Then I get more mad at myself for going back to that spot. Otherwise, it doesn't really make me mad that someone has to rely on those tactics to get a fraction of the kills I get by running around.

It is just a game though. Play how you want, I don't care.

I see people do this a lot and I don't get it. How does a TF help them when they just sit there staring down a hallway? I mean they would be much better off with a reflex sight.

Also, I get mad every time I die...i never watch the killcam anyway so I dont know if the guy had a TF or not.

I don't see why it bothers people so much lol. It's just a crutch that gives just as much of an advantage as someone who has decent awareness. It's like select fire for the fal. It's nice if you have slow fingers but if you can shoot fast repeatedly it's a waste of an attachment.

Just sucks when it's a portion of your ear slightly peeking out and you're being burned down in mere seconds. I can't recall how many times I've seen a square and no one there and just start shooting and get a kill from someone I barely could see. Well I don't much care either way.

can shoot fast repeatedly

except this makes sense with the FAL, not everyone can shoot fast repeatedly. Everyone has eyes and can see enemies. The only thing the target finder does is obscure the edges of your screen honestly. It's like a worse version of marksman from MW3.

People are forgetting that cod is babby's first fps game, so of course they would have crutches for said babby.

That doesnt mean it is right, but it is what it is.

Shooting fast repeatedly isn't hard at all, just like gaining some awareness of what's directly in front of you

Everyone has fingers just like they have eyes.

Though if anything I think select fire makes the fal worse. The shots after comes out slower than if you were to just quickly shoot a second/third time which is all it usually takes to kill someone with it

Anyone with 2 legs can out-walk a person on crutches.

Anyone with 2 thumbs can out-shoot a bad with a TF.

Crutches don't give anyone an advantage.
