What is a good anti-air class setup?

Just like the topic says.
I haven't bothered with ant-air since the game's hey day, but now that I play a lot by myself, I have went back to using one, because it is extra points and it always seems that I get put on random teams that don't seem to mind being tore up by stealth choppers and escort drones.

Currently, I am running this one for ant-air....

LSAT with target finder (yeah, I'm one of those guys, but only on this gun) and fmj
Stinger (can't remember the actual name)

Blind Eye, Flak jacket
Toughness
Tactical mask

Any ideas to tweak this better would be appreciated.

LMG of choice + FMJ
FHJ Anti-Air

Blind Eye
Cold Blooded/Scavenger
Engineer

Black Hat x2

Wildcard: Perk 2 Greed

That was my dedicated Anti-Air class, as best as I can remember it. Not much can stand-up to a Black Hat double-tap followed either by a missile or sustained LMG fire. And Engineer is just there to give your Black Hats something else to point at if you should find yourself in the vicinity of enemy equipment.

Switch toughness for cold blooded. Tac mask for engineer. Take off tf and get an emp nade. That should get you set. Maybe take off blast shield and perk 2 greed some scavenger. Should get you loads of bonus points.

For a deticated AA class, i would recommend

Lmg of choice
Attachment (fmj is good)
Fhjaa
Blind eye
Cold blooded
Engineer
Black hatx2
Tactician
Trophy system

Trophy system to protect against lodestars and swarms (you do have blind eye/coldblooded but are bot protected from teammates)

Yeah, if you're on a team full of legit morons (the kind who stand beside you and try to tag the Lodestar with their Remington) then swap Scavenger for the Trophy System. Probably also if you're playing Dom (since flags tend to draw fire, and your team can benefit more from your Trophy Systems than you can from Scavenger).

I didn't even think about trophies. You can throw it in a room with campers kinda like an emp grenade and it'll take out shock charges, claymores, etc. You just have to be way closer and it doesn't work on stuff like guardians and sentries.

Honestly the FHJ is good enough to handle most air support save for VTOLs, Warthogs and Lodestars and the Black hats cover those. I would personally skip the LMG and go for a more aggressive AR or SMG. Treatment is nice and all, but prevention is the best medicine and putting boot to ass is how you keep the skies from needing clearing.

That said, there's no way to stop a team of veggies from feeding the enemy team streaks. If the enemy team is able to get anything above a Dragonfire without using a CP, you're probably going to lose any way.
