Blue is the building right next to B-Dom

The second hardpoint is right in the A-Dom area, and the anchor usually sits in that back parking lot thing with that rock wall (behind a dom and to the right)

Is 'the anchor', like, a player who sits on the point to keep the point flow, rather than to actually defend it?

in hardpoint, you can spawn "in" or "out". You want to be spawning in, because that means you spawn closer to the hardpoint, so your team can just constantly flood it. You want one guy always "anchoring", or holding the good spawns for the hardpoint. There's an "anchor" spot (really it's an area) that you hold down for each hill to keep your team spawning close to the hardpoint.

The idea is a guy with an AR holds down the anchor, and his 3 teammates with SMG's spawn close and flood the hill repeatedly. It doesn't matter if they die, because they will spawn right there. If the other team dies, they have to run like 5 seconds just to get to the hill and try to contest it. That's the basic idea.

I don't really get your question, but to clarify, the anchor doesn't sit IN the hill. He sits near the hill, in a position to hold spawns for his team.

In public match hardpoint nobody every anchors, so if that's all you've ever played, nobody would expect you to know that :)

And yea, I think it's mostly a running joke on the cod boards and not less of anybody actually believing it (except noitrez lol :p )

I find it odd, really. In MW2 and BOps2 I almost never used FMJ. In MW3 I would very rarely use Impact. In Ghosts, I almost always run Armor Piercing.

It's likely because of the fact that I hate having to pump 10 rounds into a Squadmate, Guard Dog, or Ballistic Vest protected enemy. In these other games, it very rarely seemed to help me much, so I'd rather use something else since most of the weapons I used already had good bullet penetration or I wouldn't even try to shoot through an object anyways.

Target Finder, though, I like to use only to hear the salty cries of the baddies who refuse to run Cold Blooded or think that, just because they do, they're immediately invisible to someone with a TF or Dual Band Scope.
