Who do you think is the TRUE best in the world right now?

I think it's between Cm punk, Daniel Bryan, Austin Aries, Jeff Hardy, Dolgh Ziggler, and Booby Roode. My personal favorite is Dolgh Ziggler as he has so much potential to being the face of the wwe. I think they should turn him face.

Punk, easily.

Ziggler is good, but I think he should stay a heel. He's excellent in that role when they let him be.

CM Punk.

It;s been a long time since I can remember a wrestler having THAT much amount of heat in such a short amount of time.

He's also a terrific wrestler, amazing on the mic, and is willing to put over new talent.

After that (for me), it would be between Aries and Bryan. If Aries was still World Champion, and if Bryan was in the WWE/WHC picture, I think they could give Punk a run for his money, but for now he is pretty much untouchable.

Too bad cm punk is going to lose the title at royal rumble to the rock then we're going to see rock and cena 2 -__-

I mean that Punk's merch was outselling Cena's for months. They put him on the cover of WWE 13, and his name was being chanted night in and night out.

Within a Month, he had the "entire" WWE Universe turn on him.

People actually HATE the guy. If you want to see something HILARIOUS, read the WWE fan comments after a Punk win.

The last heel turn that I can recollect that had THAT kind of affect, was when Austin sided with Vince.

i heard something more along the lines of ratings being down for his entire title run

he has been saying and doing things to get cheap heat and it often falls flat

in most places he gets more of a positive reaction than a negative one and a lot of the time its barely a reaction at all

if your information is correct id say its more to do with him just having better looking shirts (until his current one) and being the alternative to cena

i didnt watch wrestling at the time but i imagine something like batistas heel run being more successful than this

I respectfully dissagree with all of your comments.

He gets a postive reaction in the various cities he made his name (Chicago, Dayton, Philly).

Batista's heel run was awful.

cena still gets twice the reaction punk does in 4/5 cities

his promos have become stale and at times cringeworthy

he went from anti-authority rebel to being scared of everyone

he is no where near as over as he was this time last year
