It's just too bad it took a company going down for someone else to get a chance at the wwe games. Guess attitude era game didnt save them like it saved WWF --- Playing: Skyrim. WWE 13, Final Fantasy 3. FFXI Waiting For: GTA V, FFX HD, The Last of Us.
Yeah and it went to 2k, who don't forget, makes horrible sports games with the exception of nba2k.
MLB may not be great...but people STILL talk about the last NFL2k game and it came out over 10 years and an entire console generation ago..and people are still going on about it. 2k can make good sports games. --- For the Horde!!!!
Just hope this is not going to be one of those be careful what you wish for type of scenarios, and don't forget that 10 years from now people will talk about great games like WWE 13 and the Attitude era stuff like they loved it all along....And I am sure we will still hear about No Mercy...
Regardless I have played a lot of 2K games that were REALLY good, if they can build on WWE 13 and actually read the message boards to find the things fans want or want fixed they will be fine.
It isn't a complicated formula for a company like 2K to deliver a good product. 1. Add to the game, don't take things away like moves and options. 2. Listen to the fans...if they want 100 CAW slots then create 100 CAW slots, or have 4 on 4 matches....THQ for years didn't listen...so bye bye. 3. Keep the servers efficient and easy to upload and download. THQ did a horrible job of that.
If 2K can keep that basic formula then it will be a winning experience for everyone.
Oh yeah...great news....except for the fact that nobody bought Vigil so we'll probably never see a Darksiders 3. At least there's still Saint's Row. *sigh* --- The Smiling Bandit (Strikes Again! Ha Ha Ha!) -Lupin III: Stealing jewels and schooling fools since 1967-
