Who can you play as in multiplayer?

I know in single-player your choices are Ratchet, Clank, and Qwark, but I asusme there's more choices for online.

Also, are there any gameplay differences between the characters?

I would think that they're all just skins. Not actual different characters.

But so far I know we've seen Cronk, Zephyr, Chainblade (from Going Commando), a Tyrrhanoid (from Up Your Arsenal), and...what appears to be an homage to another skin from UYA. Can't remember the skin's name though.

Dunno yet. The game comes out Tuesday though, so you'll see soon enough.

And apparently that "homage" skin is supposed to be the B2 Brawler from GC. I think it more closely resembles a skin from UYA. <_< Granted the skin's description said that it was supposed to be the B2 Brawler's cousin.

That was B2 Brawler.

I've also seen skins of Chairman Drek, Nefarious, and Tachyon in a mini-mech going around.
