The only match I ever left before the end was because my PS3 froze on me. As for other people, maybe their PS3's froze too... But more than likely it was because they were getting their ass kicked.

you act like this is a new concept to quit if you are clearly losing

peeps don't have RL time to waste being your practice dummy, not do they owe you anything.. When they see no hope they might as well try another match.

No, not that. A lot of people just quit early in the match for no reason. It's infuriating in 2V2.

Grow up, this is a video game not a sport. Tell me, what does "good sportsmanship" get you in a video game? Nothing but wasted time.
