Even tough Persona series is more popular SMT4 has the advantage of reaching a more wide userbase but......will be enough?

Definitely not.
1.SMT is not as big as Persona.
2.Persona got tons of 9-10/reviews and that helped a lot.
3.Persona got released on the Vita which really lack games to play.
4.The Dark atmosphere and the religious themes in SMT4 will probably scare off some people.

I really hope its sells better then persona maybe they'll make another spin-off entirely.

I know that I will like it better, but it won't do better than P4G sales wise. Of course I would be happy if it did.

And that's not my way of saying that SMTIV can't be as good as P4G...but yeah.

I can't imagine any possible scenario that would result in SMTIV doing better than P4G short of a Kaiju monster coming out of the ocean and forcing people to buy copies of it.

I've seen this happen.


I doubt this will have much effect on it. Either way, there is no way this is gonna out sell P4 unless they port it to other systems. Don't get me wrong, I HATED Persona 3, but it got a lot of hype which really contributed to the success of P4. It's also very rare for a niche game (yes it is) like this to sell well compared to ANY console game.
