So glad Captain Marvel name is Shazam now.

Captain Marvel felt like it was from well.....Marvel. Shazam sounds better for him, and fits him better.

Also I love his new look. I disliked his old one.

it feel like its marvel because it have the word marvel in it? his name will always be captain marvel

He shouldn't have had to change his name. Marvel should have just changed their name instead.

I liked the short side cape.
I like the hooded wizard cape as well.

I do NOT like the cape on Black Adam, though. I think without it he looks more utilitarian and powerful. More aggressive.

I agree. Shazam sounds a lot cooler and more distinct. Captain Marvel sounds way to 40's to me.

I never really did like superheroes with "captain" in their names. The exception being "Captain America" because just naming him "America" would be stupid.


Anyway, I like the name Shazam better. Kinda' keeps with the fact that he's a child in its whimsy, and it's more fun to say. Also more distinct. A lot of people I know (not really comic book fans, for the record) assume he's a Marvel character.

Nope Marvel is not the original, they are just holing for no reason...No way on earth that Mar-Vell is more famous that Captain Marvel.
