How is this game? I am curious about the multiplayer mainly for team based modes.

It's worth buying the game to be honest but you're gonna have to get used to it at first and same with the multiplayer but it's best if you find someone to play it with as a private match cause random matches with anyone isn't always too good so I advise you to have a friend to play it with online.

Like Hot Pursuit 2010, your teammates are randomly chosen on Team Races. Online is active so far. I see more new players these days than a room full of SL 71's. (max level)
