Weapon testing arena.

Does anyone know if what you do here applies to your current inventory? I'm afraid to test some builds because I don't want it to ruin my current setup.

It draws on your resource pool from your current inventory. Other than that, nothing else is used.

There's also a button for spawning necromorphs to test your weapons out on (These necromorphs cannot damage you, i'm not sure if they can kill you with their grapple attack though).

You also get infinite ammunition to use.

Awesome. That mostly answers my question. If I draw from my resource pool and use, say 20 tungsten. Is that missing if I continue the story? I just don't want to lose resources from it :p

Yes, any and all resources spent creating things at the bench will draw from your resource pool.

Seriously? Can anyone else confirm this? I don't understand why a testing arena would actually deplete your in-game resources. Kind of defeats the purpose of, you know... a "testing" arena.

What he means is that when you go into the weapons testing arena, the stuff you currently have in your inventory is what you can use to "test" within the arena. It doesn't affect your inventory in the actual game, but you cannot test with stuff you don't have.

It does affect your story inventory I just tested it, but you can just do a checkpoint restart before you save and quit to fix that
