Stim-gas is cheap online.

Stims heal you to full immediately as long as you're in the fairy dust. Only way to get a kill honestly is to get them out of it or instadeath via gib or chainsaw or something.

Stim-grenades shouldn't be in the competitive modes full stop, besides Overrun. And even then, it's pretty cheap in Overrun.

The old tactic to avoid damage was simple; wall bounce. You either got good at it, or you died. You evade around areas and used it to either get away if you were using a rifle (to create distance), or you used it to close the distance and gib the other player with the Gnasher.

Now it's just a case of you don't need to do anything; the game does everything for you. You use it and sponge damage whilst exploiting the almost invulnerability.

This is precisely why people throw around the term 'dumb-downed', because this sort of gameplay is.

Yeah. They are overpowered, and shouldn't be in MP.

Do you think Epic will nerf them if enough people complain about it? That's basically what they did with the sawed off in Gears 3.

Do what you wanted everyone else to do in previous games. Adapt or die. Get better at dealing with it. They do have counters, like, I don't know, every other grenade type in the game. As well as explosives. And instant kills.

Quit trying to apply the same tactics to something that's different.

Nerf the gnasher if you remove stims. You can still gib stimmed players with that overpowered weapon.

Complain, complain, complain. It's why the SOS went from good weapon to piece of crap in Gears 3.

Adapt or die... or cry like a child. Nuff said.
